Dead Roses???

So lately I've been spending a lot of time talking with my 'girls' about our past relationships etc. And I've noticed that we all kept dead roses while we were with our significant other and all of our Mothers objected to us keeping them... apparently its a bad ome I guess, but does anyone actually know what it represents??
I kind of came up with a few ideas, just the death of a passion, death of a relationship - but a rose is just as beautiful dead as it is alive....

Also, I'm trying to convince this group of girls that they really don't need men to make them happy. I mean we can be happy just on our own as well....and if the right guy happens to come along then go for it and don't waste time, but that doesn't mean you randomly hook up with any guy you see and have a lil 2 month fling with him ya? Oh well I've tried explaining - oh and for you 'heart broken sould' the best way to get over a guy is to hang around all the people who care about you sooooooo much and who love you to death and just hang out with him - cuz they'll help you have soooo much fun that you won't have time to think about that person who broke your heart....anyways tho...

My Spring Break starts next week - YAY - and this whole week has just been piles and piles of coursework. I have two papers due after Spring Break along with 2 midterms and a lab practical....and to add the cherry on top of all that - I'm also moving during my so called 'break' so I got my workload cut out for me.

Lately - me and this writing thing has been getting outta hand...I've realised that everything I write is actually affecting people - and I hope that my words can come from a comforting point of view... but I just wanna say to my Mom....I know we don't always get along but I love you to death, and when you read my lil bits of work and cry it makes me feel like i've impacted someones life and have done something good....thanks for your support guys :D
